Mohan Interirors

You can find Mohan Interirors right on the Main Road at Maujpur Chowk. It’s a busy spot, number 53. Being on the main road means there’s always noise from the traffic and people shouting, but we’ve gotten used to it. We deal with interior stuff, mostly for local homes and shops nearby. The shop is filled with samples and scraps of different materials. It’s not a showroom like the ones you see in the malls. It’s a working space where we actually get things done. We have tools lying around and sketches pinned to the walls. Sometimes we get a bit behind on our filing because we are busy measuring or talking to someone about their house. We don’t have a website or a fancy marketing plan. Most people just see our sign when they are stuck in traffic at the chowk. We’ve been at 384 A for a long time. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, but it works for us. We just like working with our hands and seeing things take shape. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we have to redo a measurement, but that’s just how it is. We are local people serving other local people. It’s a simple arrangement that has worked for us for years now. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s a lot of work but we enjoy seeing the final results of a project. We keep our coffee machine in the corner and that's all we need.
