About Modern Furniture Interior – Business Planning And Management Consultant in Delhi
Working in Jamia Nagar means you get used to the noise and the crowds pretty fast. Our shop is tucked away in Abul Fazl Enclave 2, right in the middle of Okhla. It’s a busy spot. We spend most of our days surrounded by wood, fabric, and tools. There’s usually sawdust on the floor and the smell of polish in the air. It’s not a showroom where everything is perfect and untouchable. People come in with sketches or just ideas for a bed or a sofa they saw somewhere. We sit down, figure out the measurements, and start cutting. Sometimes the wood doesn't behave or a delivery is late because of the traffic on the main road, which is always a mess. We have a few guys who have been doing this for years, and they know the craft well. It’s a lot of manual labor. My back usually aches by five o'clock. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us making furniture for the neighbors and people around town. We try to be honest about how long things take. If a chair isn't ready, it’s not ready. It’s a small operation, really. You might find some clutter in the back, but that’s just how a workshop looks. We just keep our heads down and finish the work we have for the day. Sometimes the customers argue about the price, but we just explain the cost of the materials and move on. It is a long day every day, but we are used to it by now.
