Our spot is AG 221 in Shalimar Bagh. This is a residential part of North Delhi, so the vibe is quite different from a downtown commercial area. We are tucked away in the AG block, which can be a bit of a maze for someone who isn't familiar with the layout. The streets are lined with parked cars and there are several small parks nearby where people sit out in the winter sun. The building itself is a standard three-story house where we use one of the floors for our operations. It’s a simple setup with basic furniture and a few computers. In the afternoons, the street is usually quiet, except for the occasional vegetable seller passing by with a cart. We get a lot of dust coming in from the main road, so we spend a bit of time every morning wiping down the desks. The electricity can be a bit unreliable during the peak of summer, so we have a small backup system to keep the fans and lights going. There are some good local eateries nearby in the market area where we go if we want something more than just a home-packed tiffin. It’s a comfortable place to work from, and it feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have a small balcony where we go to get some air when the weather is decent.
