Our office is right on the Main Road in Defence Colony. It’s a good spot because everything we need is close by. We work on infrastructure projects, so there’s always a lot of talk about materials and timelines. Usually, you’ll see maps or plans spread out on the tables. It’s not the quietest place, especially with the trucks and cars going past all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, checking how things are coming along. When we’re in the office, it’s mostly about coordinating where the equipment needs to go. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take a quick rickshaw to get in. We don’t go in for big meetings with presentations. We just sit around the desk and figure out what needs to happen next. It can be a bit messy with all the paper and files, but we know where everything is. If someone stops by, we’re usually deep in something, but we’ll take a minute to talk. It's hard work, and sometimes the weather makes it tougher, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We just try to get the jobs finished so we can move on to the next one. There isn't much more to it than that, really. Just everyday work for a local crew like ours.
