Mediators Placement Consultancy is based out of D 18 in Gaurav Apartment, which is in the IP Extension area of New Delhi. Being in an apartment complex makes the work feel a bit more personal, I think. We focus on placement, so our phones are pretty much always ringing with people looking for work or companies looking for staff. It can get a bit chaotic with all the resumes and files we have lying around. IP Extension is a good area, though parking can be a real nightmare if you aren't careful. We’ve been working from this spot for a while now and we know most of the people in the building. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a regular place where we do our business every day. Most of our time is spent interviewing folks and trying to match them with the right roles. Delhi is a huge city and there are always people moving in and out, so we stay pretty busy. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work, answer the calls, and try to help people find a decent living. Sometimes we stay late when a big project comes in, but usually we try to wrap things up so we can get home through the Delhi traffic. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local community here in Gaurav Apartment. We keep it simple.
