Mayfair Interiors

Our spot is in Delhi, specifically G 212 in the M B Extension area near the GPO. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it can be a bit of a maze. We work on interiors, which sounds fancy, but mostly it involves us getting our hands dirty on site or looking at piles of fabric and wood samples in the office. It’s a messy business sometimes. We have tape measures and rolls of drawings scattered everywhere. The office isn't much to look at because we’re usually out visiting sites or talking to suppliers. When we are here, we’re mostly just trying to figure out how to make things fit into the spaces we’re given. The M B Extension isn’t the quietest place, so there’s always the sound of traffic or construction nearby. We don’t put on airs about what we do. We just try to get the measurements right and make sure the materials arrive when they should, which is harder than it sounds. Sometimes a client comes in to look at samples and we have to clear off a chair for them to sit. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We’ve been doing this for a while and we know which vendors are reliable and which ones aren't. It’s just us working away in our corner of Delhi, trying to keep our projects on track without too much fuss.
