We are located in South Extension Part II, specifically at L 1 6. New Delhi is always moving fast, and this neighborhood is no different. It’s a bit of a maze finding the right block sometimes if you aren’t used to the layout here in Delhi 49. The office is pretty functional. We have the usual setup you’d expect for a place like Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics. There are computers humming all day and the air conditioning is usually running full blast because of the heat outside. People are always coming and going. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with everyone talking at once or the street noise drifting in, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We’ve got a few rooms where the work happens. It’s not some big corporate headquarters, just a practical space where we can sit down and focus. The tea stall around the corner is where most of us end up during the afternoon break. It’s easier to grab something quick there than to cook anything in the small pantry we have. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, so we’ve seen the shops on the main road change hands more than a few times. The morning commute can be a real pain with the Delhi traffic, but once we get through the door, it’s just about getting the tasks finished for the day. No big frills, just a lot of hours spent at the screens. We just keep at it and get it done.
