Manpasand Handloom

Our shop is located right in the Shiv Shankar Market in Madangir, specifically at Shop No A 40. We have been selling various handloom items like bedsheets, cotton towels, and curtains here for quite a while. If you walk into the market area, you can usually spot our place by the tall stacks of colorful fabrics piled up near the entrance. It is a very tight space inside, so you really have to watch your step so you do not trip. We get our stock from various weavers and small suppliers we have known for many years. We do not do any of that fancy branding or marketing stuff. We just put the goods out on the shelves and let people feel the quality of the cotton for themselves. The market gets very crowded on the Saturdays and Sundays, and it can get a bit loud with all the bargaining going on around us. We try to stay out of the noise and just focus on our customers. Sometimes the lights in the market flicker, and the shop can get a bit dusty from the street outside, but that is just part of being in Madangir. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share some tea together in the quiet afternoons. It is a simple business. We buy things we think people will like for their homes and sell them at a fair price.
