Manoj Kumar Nigam

My name is Manoj Kumar Nigam and I spend most of my days at Shalimar Bagh Main Road 594. Being on the main road means there is always something to look at out the window, even if it is just the traffic or people walking by in a hurry. The address 594 isn't hard to find once you get into the right part of Shalimar Bagh. I’ve been here long enough that I don't really notice the noise of the cars anymore. The place inside is pretty basic. I have a desk, a few shelves, and a place to sit. It’s not one of those polished offices you see in the magazines, but it serves its purpose. I usually open up around nine and stay until the evening. Sometimes the mail comes late, and sometimes it doesn't come at all, which is just how it goes. I try to keep things organized, but the papers have a way of piling up anyway. There’s a guy who sells snacks nearby, and the smell of fried food usually drifts in around lunch time. It makes me hungry even if I just ate. I don’t have any big slogans or goals to talk about, I just show up and do what needs to be done. Manoj Kumar Nigam is the name on the papers, and this spot on the main road is where I can be found. It’s a straightforward life here at number 594. The sidewalk gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk.
