Down here at Lakar Mandi, you’ll find us at Manoj Furniture. We are situated at Kirti Nagar A 12 Whs. If you’ve ever walked through this part of the market, you know it smells like wood and sawdust all day long. That is just part of life here. We aren't one of those big showrooms with bright lights and pushy sales people. Our place is more of a workshop where things actually get built. There’s always wood stacked up and tools lying around. It gets dusty, and we probably should sweep more often, but there is always another project to start. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. People come in looking for something solid, and we show them what we’ve got. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours, but it’s what we do. The address at A 12 Whs is where we spend most of our lives. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s an honest one. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people talking. When you’re located in a place like Lakar Mandi, you just have to work hard to keep up. We just focus on the pieces we are making and try to do right by the folks who walk in. That’s really all there is to Manoj Furniture. We are just local makers keeping the old traditions going.
