Make A Difference Ngo

Our office is located in Block D6 of Vasant Kunj, right here in New Delhi. It is a residential area, but we have our small setup in Unit 6095 4. We do a lot of our community work from this little base. It can get a bit chaotic inside because we have volunteers coming in and out at all sorts of odd hours. We usually have boxes of supplies, posters, and pamphlets scattered around the room. It’s definitely not the most organized office you will ever come across, but we usually know where everything is kept. New Delhi can be a really tough city to get around, so we spend a lot of our time planning out our routes and schedules. We don't have a big budget for fancy furniture or high-end computers. We just make do with whatever we have on hand. Most of our days are spent on the phone or talking to people in person to try and coordinate our different projects. It is exhausting work some days, but it is just what we do. We have a small kitchen corner where we make a lot of tea and talk over our plans for the next day. Vasant Kunj is a nice part of the city to be based in, even if the traffic nearby is a constant headache. We have been in this block for a while and the neighbors don't mind us. We aren't corporate types; we just show up and work.
