Maizon Interior

Our place is over in Punjabi Bagh, at number 26115. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always the sound of traffic in the background. Inside the office, things are a bit of a mess most of the time. We have stacks of tile samples, wood swatches, and rolls of wallpaper leaning against the walls. There are drawing boards where we try to sketch out ideas, and usually, there are half-empty cups of coffee sitting near the blueprints. It’s not a showroom where everything is perfect and shiny. It’s a working space where we actually get things done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with contractors or looking for specific materials that a customer wants. Sometimes the samples don't arrive on time, or the colors look different under our lights than they do in a house. That’s just part of the daily struggle. The staff here is small, just a few of us who know how to handle the measurements and the planning. We’ve been in this spot in Punjabi Bagh for several years now. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving heavy furniture around, and the shelves are overflowing with old catalogs. We prefer it this way because everything we need is within reach. We don’t pretend to be some high-end firm; we just sit here, do our work, and try to make spaces look a bit better than when we found them.
