Mahindra Forgings Ltd is located up in the mountains of Uttaranchal, specifically in Mukteshwar, Nainital. Our office is associated with S O Sri R S Mer, and we are right near the I.V.R.I. campus. It is a very quiet setting compared to what you would find in a big city. The air is cold and the hills are all around us, especially during the winter when it gets really chilly. Doing forging work in this kind of environment has its own pace. You don’t hear the constant noise of traffic; instead, it is much more peaceful, which is nice. Most of the folks working here are from the local area or have moved up here to be part of the forging plant. Our daily work is heavy and technical, dealing with metal and machinery every day. The address can be a bit hard to find if you aren't from around here, but once you get to Mukteshwar, the area near the IVRI is well-known. We don’t go in for big city flashiness or anything like that. We are just about hard work and making sure the forgings are done the right way. The lifestyle is a bit slower outside the gates, but inside the plant, things stay busy. It is a unique spot to have a business like this, and we’ve all gotten used to the mountain way of life while keeping the work going.
