Mahindra British Telecom

Mahindra British Telecom is situated up on the 13th floor of the Cosmopolitan Society, specifically in unit 9B 1304. Being so high up means we get a pretty good view of the surrounding area, though we are usually too busy looking at our screens to notice it much. The society is a large complex with a lot of different people living and working there. To get to us, you have to go through the main security gate and then wait for the lift, which can be a bit of a process during the morning rush. Our office is a mix of tech and everyday life. We have cables running along the floor and rows of desks with monitors everywhere. It is not a silent place; there is always the clicking of keyboards and people talking about various projects. We have a small pantry where the fridge is always full of people's lunches and the coffee pot is usually empty. The furniture is the standard office kind that has seen better days, but it does the job. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some whiteboards with scribbles and diagrams that only we understand. It is a functional space where the focus is on the work at hand. Even though the name sounds very international, the atmosphere inside is just like any other busy office where people are trying to get through their to-do lists before the weekend starts.
