Maharani Electric Co

Maharani Electric Co is down at the Electrical Market near the Ajmeri Gate. We are located on the ground floor at number 1998. If you know the Ajmeri Gate area at all then you know how packed and busy it gets every day. There are wires and boxes and people everywhere you look. Our shop is not very large but we managed to pack a lot of stock into the space. Working in the electrical market means we are constantly surrounded by other shops doing very similar things. It is a lot of noise and people shouting out orders. We spend our day handling different electrical parts and talking to the people who walk in. We have been at number 1998 for quite a while now. The ground floor location is good because it makes it easy for people to just walk right in from the street. It is often a dusty place because of all the movement and traffic outside. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. We just have simple shelves full of different items. It is very practical. No one here wears a suit or anything fancy. We just wear what is comfortable for moving heavy boxes around. The Ajmeri Gate area has a lot of history and we feel like a small part of that. We just keep our heads down and do our work. It is not a glamorous job but it is what we do for a living. Every day is pretty much the same routine for us.
