Madan Lal Advocates

Our office is at number 4 in Pitampura. It’s a small legal practice, nothing like the big firms you see in the movies. Madan Lal and the rest of us just handle the cases that come in. Most of the time, the desk is buried under files and law books. We spend a lot of our time reading through papers and going to the courts. It’s not always exciting work, but it’s important to the people who walk through our door. We’ve been in this part of Pitampura for quite some time now. People come to us when they have a problem they can’t fix themselves. We listen, take some notes, and tell them what we think. There isn't a fancy waiting room with coffee or anything like that. Just a few chairs and some old fans. We don't use big words to try and impress anyone. We just explain things in plain English or Hindi so people understand what’s happening with their case. The neighborhood is okay, and we know the tea guy downstairs pretty well. He brings us drinks when we’re stuck working late on a brief. We don't promise anyone the world. We just do the paperwork and show up when we’re supposed to. It’s a regular office for regular people. We keep things quiet and focus on the details of the law without making a big fuss about things. It's just our daily routine at Pitampura 4.
