M Sadique operates out of the court complexes in New Delhi. Specifically, you can find us at Patiala House Courts and Saket Courts, room or seat number 315. If you’ve ever been to the courts in Delhi, you know exactly what it’s like. It’s a sea of black robes, stacks of legal files tied with red string, and a lot of people rushing around. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. Our space is functional and very busy. There are always people coming in with questions or papers that need signing. The atmosphere at Patiala House is especially historic, while Saket feels a bit more modern but just as hectic. We spend our days navigating the hallways and waiting for our turn in front of the benches. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of quick movement. There is no time for marketing talk here; the work is purely about the law and the documents. We have a simple desk where we keep our books and records. It’s a place where you hear the constant clatter of typing and the low hum of voices discussing cases. We aren't focused on being flashy. We just handle the matters that come across our desk one by one. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we do every day of the week. The tea stalls outside the gates are where we catch our breath.
