We’re located over in Tigri Colony, which is part of the Khanpur area in New Delhi. Our office is on the third floor of the D 900 building. It’s a bit of a climb every morning, but you get used to it after the first week. The work we do is a mix of security and looking into things for people. It’s not like what you see on television; mostly it’s just sitting at desks, looking at files, and making a lot of phone calls. We spend a lot of time documenting everything because in this line of work, if it isn't written down, it didn't happen. The office is usually a bit messy with folders and maps, but we know where everything is. Khanpur is always noisy and crowded, so once we get up to the third floor, it’s a little bit of a relief from the street level. We have a small team, and we’ve all been through plenty of long nights together. Sometimes we’re out in the field, but most of the coordination happens right here in this room. We don't have any fancy slogans or mission statements. We just take the cases as they come and try to find the answers people are looking for. It’s a tough business sometimes, and you meet all sorts of characters, but it keeps life interesting. We just show up every morning, brew some coffee, and see what the day brings us.
