You can find us at the ground floor of 44 Pratap Nagar in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. We kept the name simple, just Lis. Being in this part of New Delhi is convenient for us and for the people who live nearby. Our space isn't very large, but we use every inch of it. We do a bit of everything here, mostly related to local services and daily needs that come up in the neighborhood. It’s a ground floor spot, so people tend to just poke their heads in to see if we are open. We have a few chairs for people to wait and a counter that’s seen better days. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been how we get most of our work. The street outside can get a bit cluttered with scooters and delivery bikes. Inside, it’s usually just the sound of a fan and someone talking on the phone. We try to be helpful whenever someone walks in. Sometimes we are swamped and other times it’s quiet enough to read the paper. We’ve seen Mayur Vihar change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down. We are just glad to still be here doing our thing. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is.
