We are based at 256 A in Pocket N, which is over in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. It’s a residential pocket, so it’s much quieter than the main roads. Life Business Projects Pvt Ltd has been in this spot for a while. The office is basically part of the housing complex, so it’s got a very neighborhood feel to it. Parking can be a real nightmare if you don’t get here early, but that’s just how Sarita Vihar is. Our workspace is spread out across a few rooms. It’s not a professional-looking studio or anything; it’s more like a home office that grew too big. We have wires running along the floor and stacks of boxes in the corners. We do our daily work here, mostly on the laptops, and there’s always a pile of files that needs sorting. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and we can hear them through the windows. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and that’s usually where we end up talking about things other than work. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door just goes and sees who it is. That’s how we do things here, just keeping it simple and getting things done.
