Our spot is at MD 56 in Pitampura, Delhi. It’s a simple setup in a very busy part of the city. If you’ve spent any time in Pitampura, you know how the streets can get with all the traffic and the shops nearby. We operate from this specific unit, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a local insurance office. We have our desks, some old cupboards for the files, and a few chairs for whoever drops in. It’s not a big corporate building with glass walls. It is just a solid, everyday workspace where we handle things for Lic Of India. The air outside is always dusty, so we keep the windows shut most of the time. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood walking in, especially in the mornings before it gets too hot. Our routine is the same most days—checking documents, talking to folks about their plans, and keeping the records straight. There’s a tea stall not too far away that we visit when we need a break. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel because we’ve been here a while. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It is just a place to get work done and help the local people who live around MD block. It’s honest work, and the office reflects that with its plain walls and stacked papers. We sometimes stay late to finish the filing when the week gets busy.
