Laxmi Hydraulic Works

Laxmi Hydraulic Works is tucked away at Shop No. 4 in the Shiv Mandir Building. You can find us right near the old bus stand in Tri Nagar. It’s a busy spot with a lot of people moving around all day. We have been working on hydraulic pumps and jacks here for quite a long time. The shop isn't very large, and it's usually filled with the smell of hydraulic fluid and old metal. We spend most of our time at the workbench getting our hands dirty. It’s just how the work is. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery, so we have to be careful. We handle repairs for all sorts of machinery that comes our way. People from the neighborhood know us because we’ve stayed in this same spot for years. My brother and I run the place mostly. We don't have a big office or a fancy waiting room for people. Usually, customers just stand by the counter or sit on a stool while we talk about what’s wrong with their equipment. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific seal to arrive from the supplier, and we just tell people that’s the way it is. We don’t do any big ads or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they pass the bus stand. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
