We've been over here at C-4/2 in the Wazirpur industrial area for a while now. It’s usually pretty loud back here behind the main row of shops, but that's just how the neighborhood is. Most days start early with the shutter going up and someone already waiting with a leaky cylinder or a pump that gave out. Gaurav Hydraulic Works isn't a fancy place. We have our tools, the lathe machines, and usually a bit of oil on the floor no matter how much we sweep. Working with hydraulics is messy business, honestly. People come to us when their machinery stops working because a seal broke or a hose popped. We just take it apart, see what's wrong, and fix it. Sometimes it takes longer if a part is hard to find, but we try to get things moving. It gets hot in the summer back here, especially when we're welding or running the heavy machines. My hands are almost always stained with grease, and the tea guy knows to come by at ten. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just keeping the equipment running so other people can do their jobs. It’s a small shop, but we know our way around a pressure gauge. If you walk past the main road and head to the back side, you'll hear us working. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
