Laxman Singh Rana

Tis Hazari is a place everyone in Delhi knows because of the courts. We are right on the Main Road at C 47. Laxman Singh Rana is the name on the board. It’s a very hectic area. There are lawyers and clerks everywhere you look. Our spot is right in the middle of all that action. The building is old and has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. We have a small room where we get everything done. There’s always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside, so it’s never really quiet. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the road change so many times. The metro station is nearby, so that makes it easier for people to get here. We don’t have any modern decor or anything. It’s just wooden tables and old files. It feels like a proper old-school Delhi office. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep going. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have been using our services for a decade or more. We don’t do any marketing. We just sit here and wait for the day to start. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowd, but we are used to it. It’s just part of being in this part of the city.
