This is our small HR office located at Rz 19 in Janak Puri. New Delhi is always crowded, and this neighborhood is no different. We spend our time looking through piles of papers and talking to people who come in looking for work. The office isn't very large, so if there are more than five people inside, it starts to feel a bit tight. We have some old desks and computers that hum all day. Janak Puri has a lot going on, so there is always some noise from the street or the neighbors. We try to keep things simple. People bring in their resumes, and we write down their details in a big notebook. Sometimes the phone rings so much we have to let it go to voicemail. It’s a lot of talking and trying to match people with the right spots. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the afternoon slump. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s an honest place where we just try to help folks find a job. We don't have any fancy software or high-tech gadgets, just a few printers and a lot of folders. It’s how we’ve always done it here at Rz 19. It gets the job done and keeps us busy from morning until evening every weekday.
