L K Plastics

Down in Anand Parbat Gali No 4, you will see our place at V 4/64-66. L K Plastics is mostly just rows of machines and big bags of raw plastic granules waiting to be used. It gets incredibly hot inside the unit, especially once the machines have been running for a few hours. We make all sorts of small plastic items that people use every day without thinking twice about them. The floor always has a bit of plastic dust on it that feels like sand under your shoes. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We don't talk much while the injectors are running because you can't hear anything over the hum and thud of the equipment anyway. We mostly just use hand signals to get things done. The address is a bit tricky to find for people who aren't from around here because the numbers in Gali No 4 are all over the place. You just have to look for the big blue metal door. We spend a lot of time doing our own repairs on the molds when they get jammed up. Lunch is usually a quick affair with steel tiffins brought from home, sitting on some plastic crates in the corner. It isn't a fancy life, but L K Plastics has been a steady part of this neighborhood for a long time. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
