L G Elec Ltd

I've been sitting here at Najaf Garh for a while now. The shop is L G Elec Ltd. It’s not a big fancy place, just a room where we keep all the wires and switches. Some days the dust from the road gets everywhere. People come in mostly when their fans stop working or if a fuse blows. It's usually hot, so we keep the door open. New Delhi is always noisy, but this corner of Najaf Garh feels like home. I know most of the guys who walk past every morning. Sometimes I spend half the day just sorting out copper bits or looking for a specific bolt that rolled under the table. It’s hard work, especially when the orders get piled up. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us trying to keep things moving. The address is easy to find if you know the landmark, but even then, people call asking for directions. I don't mind. We just do what needs doing with the electricity stuff. It’s been this way for years. I remember when we first got the sign put up. It’s a bit faded now. The wooden benches for customers are a bit old too. But it works for us. We drink tea twice a day and try to get the repairs done before the sun goes down. We've got boxes stacked to the ceiling and sometimes it's a mess, but we know where everything is kept.
