Kumar Electronics (India)

If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how hard it can be to find a specific spot. We are located at 2065, Indara Kaun, right behind where Jubilee Cinema used to be. It’s an old area with a lot of history and even more people walking through the lanes every hour. Kumar Electronics (India) has been operating out of this small space for years. The walls are a bit dusty and the wiring is old, but it’s home for us. We handle a lot of different electronic parts and gadgets. Most days are spent sitting behind the counter, talking to customers who’ve traveled quite a way to find a specific component. The noise from the main road doesn't really reach us back here, which is nice. We have a small back room for storage, though it’s always overflowing with boxes and bubble wrap. Sometimes the power goes out, so we keep a flashlight handy under the desk. We don’t bother with big signs or flashy lights. People who need us usually know where to find us. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls nearby. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the city. We don’t have any fancy titles, just a few people trying to keep the business going one day at a time. It’s not always easy, but we like the routine of it and the people we meet along the way while we work.
