Kuldeep Buttons

You can find Kuldeep Buttons in the Radhika Complex at Govindpuri, Shop number 4, 1623/3. It’s a small shop, but it is packed from floor to ceiling with every kind of button you could imagine. We have thousands of little jars and boxes stuffed onto the shelves. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room for two people to stand inside at the same time. We get all sorts of customers, from ladies wanting to fix a favorite shirt to tailors who need a hundred matching buttons for a big order. It’s a quiet life, mostly spent sorting through stock and helping people find exactly what they need. We’ve been in Kalkaji for a long time, so we’ve seen shops come and go around us. We don't have a big neon sign or anything flashy. Most people just hear about us from their friends or other shopkeepers in the complex. It’s just me and my brother running things. We spend a lot of time sitting on our stools, drinking tea, and waiting for the next customer. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a flashlight to find the right drawer. It’s a simple business and we don't try to make it more complicated than it is. We like the slow pace of it and the chance to talk to our neighbors. Finding the perfect button is a small thing, but it keeps us going every day.
