Krishan Kumar

Krishan Kumar is the name of this place, and we are situated in the Western Wing of Chandni Chowk at number 284. If you know anything about Chandni Chowk, you know it is always packed and noisy. Finding us can be a bit of a challenge the first time because of all the narrow lanes and the sheer amount of people moving around. But once you get to the Western Wing, just look for 284. The space we have is quite small, but that’s common for this part of Delhi. We have been here for years, watching the market change around us. It’s a lot of hard work staying in such a busy area, but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The office is stuffed with old ledgers and papers. We don’t have air conditioning that works all the time, so it gets a bit warm in the summer months. People drop in all day long, mostly locals or folks who have been coming to this market for decades. We don't do much in terms of decorating. It’s a functional space for people who just want to get their business finished. It’s crowded, it’s loud, and it’s exactly how we like it. You might have to squeeze past a few delivery carts to get to the door, but we are always here. It’s been our base for a very long time now.
