Kpmg B S R Co operates out of Sanskriti Apartments in Sector 42, Gurgaon. We are specifically in unit A 104. It’s a bit of a different setup compared to the high-rises nearby. Since it’s an apartment building, it feels more personal and less like a factory. Sector 42 has grown a lot, but this complex has stayed pretty much the same. We have our desks set up and we just get on with things. There isn't any big reception desk or polished marble floors. It’s just a place where we work. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the security guards and the other people living and working in the block. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, which helps when we have a lot of numbers to get through. The parking can be a bit tight sometimes, but we make it work. We aren't out here making big promises or using loud words. We just do our tasks. Some days are busier than others, especially around the end of the month. We drink a lot of coffee and keep moving. It's a very straightforward way of working. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the work we do. It’s our little corner of Gurgaon and we're used to it. That is just our way.
