You can find us at Room No 24 in the Prabhat Tara Working Womens Hostel. It's located in Sector 2 of RK Puram. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a bank branch, being inside a hostel building, but it serves the people here well. Most of our visitors are the women living in the hostel or people from the nearby blocks in Delhi. It's a small room, so things can get a bit tight when more than two people are waiting. We have our desks set up and we just get on with the daily work of processing transactions. The lighting isn't the brightest, but we've got enough lamps to see the paperwork. It’s a very local vibe, and we talk to everyone like they’re just regular folks, which they are. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything; we just exist to provide the services people need right here. It’s practical and direct. Sometimes the hallway outside is a bit noisy with people coming and going from the hostel, but we don't mind much. We've got our routines and we stick to them. If you need to drop off a document or check your account, you just come to room 24. We’ll be there behind the desk, probably drinking some tea and working through the files. It is a humble setup but it works for us and the people who visit.
