Kishan Das & Sons

Our place is located at 3257 Bahadur Garh Road, right in the heart of Sadar Bazar near Chandni Chowk. It’s one of the busiest parts of the city, and Kishan Das & Sons has been part of it for a long time. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. Inside, it’s filled with stock from floor to ceiling. We deal with a lot of wholesale items, so there are always boxes being taped up or dragged across the floor. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and there’s usually a few of us here arguing about where something was put. The lights are a bit dim in the back, but we know the layout by heart. Outside, the street is a constant flow of carts and people pushing through the narrow gaps. It’s loud, dusty, and very hot in the peak of summer. We start early, around the time the first deliveries arrive. There isn't any fancy decor here, just wooden shelves and old ledgers. We do most of our business with people who have been coming to us for years. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing team. We just sit at our desks, take orders, and make sure the right boxes get to the right people. It’s a lot of shouting across the room to get things done, but that’s just how Sadar Bazar works. We keep the ledger updated by hand mostly and just keep on going.
