Khurana Interior Decorators is situated at B 94 in Dayanand Colony, which is part of the Lajpat Nagar area. This is a very active part of town with a lot of shops and people looking for things for their homes. Our place at B 94 is where we keep our samples and meet with people to talk about their rooms. It is a small shop, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded with rolls of fabric or carpet samples sitting around. Lajpat Nagar is known for being a hub for this kind of stuff, so we fit right in. We have been in Dayanand Colony for a good while and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. It is not a super modern studio with bright lights and glass tables. It is more of a workshop feel where we actually get our hands dirty thinking about colors and layouts. We have a few old catalogs that we still look through and a desk that is usually covered in swatches. People walk in from the street to ask questions, and we just give them a straight answer based on what we know. It is a very local way of doing business. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just rely on being here every day and doing a decent job for the folks who live nearby. It is a simple, honest way to work.
