Kaushik Studio

Just me and a couple of helpers here at the studio. We've been at Plot No 584 for a while now. Most people know the lane as Bhooton Wali Gali in Nangloi. It's a busy spot but we like it here. We take photos for whatever people need, weddings, IDs, kids. The lighting can be tricky in the old building but we make it work. It's not a fancy place with a big lobby. We keep things simple. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit. We don't have a big website or anything, just the shop. If you walk down the street you'll see our sign. People around here just drop in when they need a picture taken. I started this because I liked cameras since I was young. Now it's just a daily job. We try to give the prints on time, though sometimes there's a delay if the machine acts up. It's a small space, mostly filled with backdrops and stands. We get a lot of locals coming in. It's noisy outside with the traffic but once you're inside, it's quiet enough to get a good shot. We don't do anything too fancy, just regular photography for the neighborhood. It's been a few years now at this address. We're usually here from morning till late evening, even on some weekends if there is a lot of work to finish.
