Katyal Plastic

Katyal Plastic is based out of Jamia Nagar. We have been working from this spot for a long time now. The space is mostly filled with stacks of plastic goods, from buckets to crates and everything in between. It isn't a showroom by any means. It’s more of a place where things get moved in and out all day long. You’ll see trucks parked outside quite often blocking the narrow lane while we load up orders. The air usually has that faint smell of new plastic and dust. We spend most of our time checking lists and making sure the piles don't fall over. The floor is concrete and cold in the winter. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. There’s a small desk in the corner where the bills get written out by hand. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they need something sturdy for their kitchen or shop. It gets a bit chaotic when several people show up at once wanting different sizes of containers. We just do the work and try to keep things organized enough to find what’s needed. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and it gets pretty bright inside. It’s just a regular business doing what it does every day without much fuss and keeping the local shops supplied with what they need.
