If you head down to Ajmeri Gate and look for shop number 4650, you’ll find us. Kashish Plastic is a busy little place. We sell all kinds of plastic goods, from buckets and tubs to smaller household items. The shop is small and we try to fit as much as possible inside, so it’s a bit of a squeeze. Plastic might not seem exciting to some, but everybody needs it. We deal with both regular people looking for one item and traders who want a whole lot of stuff. The Ajmeri Gate area is always packed with people and rickshaws, so getting stock in and out is always a bit of a struggle. We’ve got stacks of colorful basins and containers reaching for the ceiling. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We don't have a computer system for everything; we still do a lot of things by hand and memory. We know our prices and we know what people are looking for. It gets dusty and loud with the traffic right outside the door, but we’re used to it. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who need them. It’s a simple business without any big airs or graces. We open early and stay until the market starts to wind down. If you need something durable for the house, we probably have it tucked away somewhere on the shelves.
