Karan Graphics

Karan Graphics is located over at Jhandewalan, specifically in the E 51 block of the Flatted Factories Complex. It’s a busy place with lots of other businesses around us. We spend our days dealing with paper, ink, and design files. It’s not always glamorous; there’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and checking print proofs. The machines can be temperamental sometimes, but we’ve learned how to handle them over the years. We do a lot of different types of printing work for people in the area. The complex is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We aren't a massive agency with a lot of staff. It’s just us, working through piles of orders and making sure the colors look right. Some days we have to rush to meet a deadline, and other days we’re just organizing the stock. We don't go in for big marketing talk. We just show up, do the designs, run the printers, and get the stuff ready for pickup. People usually come to us because they need something printed quickly and don't want a lot of fuss. It’s a steady rhythm of work that keeps the lights on. We keep a lot of old samples in drawers that we probably should throw away, but they come in handy sometimes.
