Kamal Kumar Verma

Our place is in Ranjit Nagar on Street Number 13, house 2702. Kamal Kumar Verma has been here for a long time now. If you walk down the lane, you will see our gate. It’s a busy neighborhood and everyone knows everyone else. We don’t really have a big sign out front, just the number on the wall. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on whatever needs doing that day. The street gets a bit crowded in the evenings with the local markets nearby. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. Some shops have gone and new ones have come up. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. It isn't a corporate setup. We have a few chairs for visitors and a tea kettle that’s usually running. Most of the people who come by live just a few streets away. It’s nice because we don’t have to deal with the madness of the main city center. Things are a bit slower here. We handle our own paperwork and keep the place tidy as best as we can. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a bit. We don't mind. It makes the day go faster. Street 13 is a quiet spot if you ignore the scooters zipping past. We have been in this same spot for years and don't see any reason to change it now.
