Working at Tis Hazari is always a bit of a rush. Our spot is at K 84, and if you’ve ever been to the courts, you know how crowded it gets. There are people everywhere, lawyers in black coats, and folks looking for help. We spend most of our time dealing with files and folders that seem to pile up on the tables. It’s a small space, but we make it work. The fan overhead makes a lot of noise but it helps with the heat in the summer. We don't really do much else besides the daily grind of court related tasks. It’s loud, it’s messy, and there’s always someone shouting something in the hallway. We’ve been in this specific spot for a while now. You get used to the rhythm of the place. We start early before the main rush starts and usually stay until the sun goes down. There isn't any fancy stuff here, just desks and chairs and a lot of paper. Sometimes we go out to get tea from the stall nearby when things get too much. It’s just how the life is here at Tis Hazari. We don't talk much about goals or anything, we just focus on the next paper that needs to be filed or the next person waiting outside. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. The tea stall guy knows our order by now. We usually just have the tea at our desks while reading.
