K D S International

K D S International is located at Matiala 46. To be honest, the name sounds a bit more grand than the actual place is. We operate out of a modest building in the Matiala area. We do a lot of trade and handling of goods that come in and out. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating with trucks these days. The office is a bit cluttered with files and old ledgers because we haven't quite moved everything over to the computer yet. We’ve been in Matiala for several years now and we know the neighbors well. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of small businesses like ours. Sometimes the narrow streets make it hard for the bigger delivery vans to get through, so we have to do a bit of juggling. We don’t have a big sign or any flashy lights outside. Most of the people we work with have been doing business with us for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see someone’s cousin helping out on a busy Tuesday. We don't have a big team of sales people. We just answer the phone and try to get the orders right. It's a lot of long hours and drinking tea while waiting for shipments to arrive. We like it here though. Matiala has a good energy to it even if it’s a bit noisy. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The tea here is always hot, even if the work is a bit slow sometimes.
