We have been here at Rohtak Road in Udyog Nagar for quite some time now. This part of H 15 is always noisy with trucks coming in and out. It gets pretty dusty too, but that is just how things go in an industrial area like this one. We spend most of our mornings checking the stock and talking to the people who drop by. Usually, it is local workers or other shop owners from the same lane. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. Just a regular desk and a lot of work to get through before the sun sets. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or so in the afternoon. We just sit outside then and wait it out. It is a simple way of working. Most of our days are spent on the phone or writing down notes on paper. We know the neighbors pretty well since we see them every single day. The tea guy comes around twice, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. People know where to find us if they need anything. We don't move around much. We stay here until the gate closes in the evening. It is not an exciting life but it keeps us busy and we like the routine we have built here over the years. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
