Our lab is over in Roop Nagar in New Delhi. It’s an older part of the city, very close to the University area. The streets are always narrow and full of students and rickshaws. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a while now. It’s a laboratory setup, so we have a lot of equipment and benches for the work we do. It’s not the most modern-looking building from the outside, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time tucked away inside. Sometimes you lose track of time when you’re focused on the details. The neighborhood is lively, which is a nice change when we step out for a break. We aren't big on corporate talk or long-winded mission statements. We just show up, do the testing or whatever is on the schedule for the day, and make sure things are accurate. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. The staff has been with us for years, so we all know how the place runs. We don't really bother with fancy signs. Most people who need us already know where we are. It’s a practical, hardworking environment and we like it that way. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get street food for the whole group. We are a tight-knit bunch and we don't feel the need to be anything other than what we are. It's a busy lab in a busy city, and that's enough for us. We’ve seen many batches of students come and go from the university nearby while we stay here.
