Jaya Plastics

Our place, Jaya Plastics, is at D 30 in Kanti Nagar, Shahdara. It’s a residential-looking area that has a lot of small businesses tucked into the side streets. We have a small setup here. It’s mostly just shelves and some basic machinery for the plastic work we do. The space is pretty tight, so we have to be careful when moving things around. I usually spend my mornings checking the orders and seeing what needs to be made. It can get quite hot inside, especially since the ventilation isn't the best. We’ve got an old fan that wobbles, but we’re used to it. My cousin helps me out on the busier days. We don't really have a front desk. If someone stops by, they usually just shout through the door. We handle a lot of small plastic parts. Sometimes the colors don't come out exactly right on the first try, so we have to redo them. It’s just part of the process. We aren't some big factory with hundreds of workers. It’s just us doing what we can in this space. The neighbors are nice, and we occasionally share some tea when things are slow. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving. It’s a simple life, and we just focus on getting the work done every day. I often spend my lunch break sitting on a crate outside just to get some fresh air.
