Jagdip Dhankar

We've been at 8 A on Tilak Marg, just off the New Sanganer Road, for a while now. Most days here start early when the street starts getting busy. Jagdip Dhankar is the name on the door, though most folks just know where to find us by the big tree near the corner. The office isn't anything fancy. It’s got some old desks and a few chairs that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time looking out at the traffic moving toward the main road. Sometimes it’s quiet, but usually, there’s a lot of noise from the bikes passing by. People stop in occasionally asking for directions or just to say hello. We keep things pretty simple around here. There’s a tea stall not too far away that we visit a couple of times a day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Working on Tilak Marg means you see a lot of the same faces every week. We like the neighborhood. It’s got a good feel to it. It’s not a big corporate setup, just us doing what we do every day. The filing cabinets are a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running full speed. That’s pretty much how it goes for Jagdip Dhankar. We’re just here on the road, staying busy and keeping things moving.
