J P M Enterprises is our shop located at Bhagirath Palace, 1696/12, which is always a crowded spot. It’s mostly boxes and wires piled up here. We spend most of the morning just unpacking things that arrived the day before. Dealing with the traffic in this area is a bit of a headache, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We sell various supplies that people need for their houses or bigger projects. It gets quite dusty with all the movement outside. Sometimes we have a cup of tea while waiting for the next delivery truck to find a parking spot nearby. My brother handles the accounts and I mostly look after the stock. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just shelves full of items and a small desk where we sit. Most of our customers are electricians who know exactly what they want, so we don't talk much, just get the items from the back. The lights in the shop are a bit dim because we keep the main ones off to save some money. If you’re looking for us, just ask around the 1696 block, someone will point you to the right corner. It’s a simple business and we’ve been at this same spot for a long time. There's always someone coming in asking for a specific part we might have buried under a stack of boxes. I keep a flashlight handy just to find things in the back corners. It's a lot of work but we manage it.
