We are over at A 101B in Jawahar Park, which is right off the Devli Road in Khanpur. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it’s always crowded and the air is full of sound. Finding us can be a bit tricky because the numbers don’t always follow a straight line. Our office is on the ground level, which makes it easier for deliveries, but the dust from the road comes in every time someone opens the door. It’s a simple setup. We have a few desks, some mismatched chairs, and shelves full of folders that we really should organize better one of these days. Most of the staff comes in by bus or scooter, so the front area is usually cluttered with helmets and bags. We have a small fan that wobbles a lot but keeps the air moving. It’s not a quiet place because of the traffic on Devli Road, but you get used to it after a week. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The walls are a plain off-white color and we’ve got some maps of the local area taped up. It feels like a workspace for people who actually do things rather than just sit in meetings. 100062 is a busy area to be in, but it keeps us busy too. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It is honest work.
