Irte

Operating out of Himgiri Apartments in Kalkaji Extension is pretty convenient for us. We are in House No 5 C, tucked away in Pocket 14. It is a residential area, so it is a bit quieter than the big main markets in New Delhi. Irte is basically our small operation run from this spot. We don't have a big sign or a storefront that faces the street. Most people who come to us are locals or friends of friends. Delhi is a big, noisy city, but this corner of Kalkaji feels a bit more grounded. We handle various tasks from here, mostly keeping things low-key and professional. It is a bit tight for space sometimes with all the paperwork and equipment, but we make it work. The neighbors know us, and we try not to be too much of a bother with noise. Living and working in the same general area has its ups and downs. You never really stop working when the office is right there. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us answering the phone and taking care of what needs to be done. The water delivery guy comes every Tuesday, and that is usually when we take our main break. It is not a polished corporate office with glass walls. We have regular curtains and a couple of mismatched chairs. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which really suits us just fine.
