IRIS Precision Toolings

Down here in Rohini Sector 14 at Prashant Vihar 205 the atmosphere is more about grit and hard work. IRIS Precision Toolings is a basic workshop rather than a corporate office. You will not find any fancy carpets or a nice reception desk here at all. It is strictly about the metal and the machines we use every day. We make tools that have to be very exact in their measurements. If something is off by even a tiny fraction the whole piece of metal is basically waste. So we spend a lot of time checking things over and over again. It gets very noisy when all the machines are running at the same time. There is always that heavy smell of machine oil and cut steel hanging in the air. I have been doing this for a long time and my fingernails are usually stained with grease. We get orders from different local businesses and we just try to get the pieces finished before the deadline. The office part of the building is just a small desk covered in grease-stained papers and old sketches. Prashant Vihar is a decent enough area but our corner is really just about the manual labor. It gets stressful when a machine breaks down unexpectedly or a delivery is stuck in traffic. We just handle it as it comes. It is not a glamorous job but these tools are necessary for other things to work properly.
