Interra Designs

Our workshop is located at D 110 on Ignou Road. It’s a pretty busy street with lots of students and shops around. We focus on design here, which means our space is usually full of samples, tools, and half-finished projects. It’s not a very big place, so we have to be organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when we are in the middle of a job. We don’t have a flashy showroom or anything like that. People usually come to see us because they’ve heard about what we do from someone else. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We spend our days sketching, measuring, and trying to get things just right. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to start over, but that’s just the nature of the work. The noise from Ignou Road is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re just regular people who enjoy making things and solving little design problems. There isn't a lot of corporate talk here. We just sit around the main table and figure out the best way to handle whatever project is on the desk that day. It’s a practical way to work. We like being in this part of South Delhi because it feels alive and there’s always something new to see outside. It’s just a simple design shop where we do our best every day.
